Tomato and chilli jam recipe

Tomato and chilli jam recipe
1 kilo of tomatoes (about 10)
ginger (according to taste but about a thumbsize worth grated)
8 cloves of garlic
30ml soy sauce
230 ml red wine vinegar
300 grams of jam sugar (or normal sugar apparently - but I can't get it to work with normal)
8 chillis (little red ones)

How to:
chop it all up, chuck it in the blender (not the sugar)
heat the liquid carefully and stir in the jam a good serving spoon / ladle at a time
Boil forever ( about 2 hours - until it sets - do the old bit of liquid on a saucer from the freezer trick)

    It will if you get stroppy with it and chuck it all back in the saucepan. It must have sensed fury over here because it then set within about 10 mins!
    Just sitting down with the Kindle and my christmas present book - nice
